25-YEAR SYSTEM WARRANTY

We warrant that ARDEX Liquid Backerboard™, ARDEX A 38™, ARDEX A 38 MIX™, ARDEX 8 + 9™, ARDEX X 77™, ARDEX X 78™, ARDEX X 90™, ARDEX X 32™, ARDEX S 28™*, ARDEX S 48™*, ARDEX N 23™*, ARDEX FL™, ARDEX FG-C™, ARDEX DG 1™, or ARDEX WA™ when used with the following ARDEX TLT Shower Systems™ Products: ARDEX TLT™ Building Panels and ARDEX TLT™ Shower Bases will not break down or lose their strength due to a manufacturing or formulation defect for 25 years from the date of installation.

If this should occur, ARDEX will pay material and reasonable labor costs to either repair or replace (at our option) the area affected by the defective ARDEX product, provided that ARDEX is notified within the 25-year warranty period AND the area was installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and industry standard practices. Products must be used together in a system-based installation.

10-YEAR SYSTEM WARRANTY

We warrant that ARDEX TL 1400™, ARDEX TL 2000™*, ARDEX S 1-K™, ARDEX X 5™, ARDEX X 7 R™, or ARDEX FH™ when used with the ARDEX TLT Shower Systems™ Products: ARDEX TLT™ Building Panels and ARDEX TLT™ Shower Bases will not break down or lose their strength due to a manufacturing or formulation defect for 10 years from the date of installation.

If this should occur, ARDEX will pay material and reasonable labor costs to either repair or replace (at our option) the area affected by the defective ARDEX product, provided that ARDEX is notified within the 10-year warranty period AND the area was installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and industry standard practices. Products must be used together in a system-based installation.

5-YEAR SYSTEM WARRANTY

We warrant that ARDEX TL 1000™, ARDEX X 3 PLUS™ or ARDEX X 4™ when used with the following ARDEX TLT Shower Systems™ Products: ARDEX TLT™ Building Panels and ARDEX TLT™ Shower Bases will not break down or lose their strength due to a manufacturing or formulation defect for 5 years from the date of installation.

If this should occur, ARDEX will pay material and reasonable labor costs to either repair or replace (at our option) the area affected by the defective ARDEX product, provided that ARDEX is notified within the 5-year warranty period AND the area was installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and industry standard practices. Products must be used together in a system-based installation.

TERMS

Eligibility: The ARDEX TLT™ Shower Systems Warranty is a three-tiered program consisting of 25-Year, 10-Year, and 5-Year tiers. The length of the applicable warranty will be based on product selection from the lowest warranty tier. For example, if any products are selected from the 5-year tier, the 5-year ARDEX TLT Shower Systems Warranty will apply to the entire installation. If no products are selected from the 5-year tier but (any single) product is selected from the 10-year tier, the 10-year ARDEX TLT Shower Systems Warranty will apply to the entire installation. The 25-year ARDEX TLT Shower Systems Warranty will only apply if all products selected are from the 25-year tier.

Scope: These warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied or statutory and is strictly limited to its terms. ARDEX makes no warranty of merchantability or suitability of its products for any particular purpose. All product demonstrations are placed for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a warranty of any kind. ARDEX sells its products upon the condition that customers shall conduct their own tests to determine the suitability of the products for the customers’ intended purposes. Under no circumstances will ARDEX be liable for economic, special, incidental or consequential damages or losses of any kind whatsoever arising out of or occasioned by the selection, use, storage conditions, installation or replacement of this product. This warranty specifically excludes any installation-related claims.
